Le Cameroun est surnomm\u00e9 \u00ab l’Afrique en miniature \u00bb car les paysages sont tr\u00e8s vari\u00e9s : d\u00e9sert, for\u00eat \u00e9quatoriale, steppes, volcans et zones agricoles\u2026 Le climat est \u00e9quatorial (source Vikidia).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traditions : Il est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 impoli d’accepter quelque chose de la main gauche. – On n’h\u00e9site pas \u00e0 saluer en permanence et \u00e0 demander des nouvelles de la famille de son interlocuteur, m\u00eame si on ne le conna\u00eet pas. – Au Cameroun, exhiber ses jambes n’est pas bien vu. – Les shorts et jupes restent dans les bagages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il est tr\u00e8s mal vu d\u2019\u00eatre homosexuel ou bien lesbienne. C\u2019est un crime puni par la loi. Deux associations d\u00e9fendent et accompagnent les personnes victimes d\u2019homophobie : il s\u2019agit de l\u2019association de d\u00e9fense des homosexuels du Cameroun (Adefho), fond\u00e9e en 2003 par Alice Nkom ; et de l\u2019association Alternatives-Cameroun, fond\u00e9 en 2006.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

R\u00e9gime politique : Le Cameroun est officiellement une r\u00e9publique de type parlementaire. Le pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique actuel est au pouvoir depuis 1982.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les langues officielles du Cameroun sont le fran\u00e7ais et l\u2019anglais. Mais au Cameroun, on parle plus de 200 langues. Il y a une vraie diversit\u00e9 linguistique et culturelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2022, on peut estimer qu\u2019environ quatre personnes sur dix sont pauvres (37,7%), selon l\u2019Institut National de la Statistique du Cameroun. Pourtant il a beaucoup de ressources naturelles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
